Guest Ratings & Reviews
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were lovely and spacious, but unfortunately quite dark with only 2 small windows. The ambiance was warm and cozy, but the rooms tended to be cold at times due to poor insulation. The location was superb, right at the top of Eyre Square, making it easy to access all main areas of the city. However, there were some noise issues from pigeons perched on the ledges outside the windows.
The hotel is centrally located in Galway city, making it easy to enjoy all the city has to offer. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, though they were a bit cold. The service was exceptional with friendly and helpful staff. The dining options were fair with fresh food choices. Overall, a solid choice for a stay in Galway.
The hotel offers rooms with expansive views and everything you would need, although the bathroom is very outdated. The cleanliness is top-notch, but the weak wifi signal could be frustrating. The staff is very attentive and friendly, providing great service with extra care even after hours. The location is ideal for sightseeing, shopping, and dining, but there might be some noise concerns. The dining experience is good, although breakfast options might not be as extensive as expected. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few minor drawbacks.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel on 26th July. The location was great, the room was comfortable for a one-night stay, although it felt a bit cramped. The service was a mixed bag - the girl who checked us in was rude, but overall, the staff were excellent and very accommodating. The location couldn't have been more ideal for us, being right next to Eyre Square and close to shops and bars. The dining experience was a hit and miss with a beautiful buffet breakfast but not the best views. Overall, a decent stay with some drawbacks.
The hotel room was not suitable for wheelchair users, making it challenging for my husband who has limited mobility. The room was spacious, quiet, and clean, but had strong food odors and was noisy due to its proximity to the stairs. However, the huge bed was a highlight despite some accessibility issues.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of pleasant and not-so-great experiences. On one hand, the rooms were spotless, especially the newly refurbished bathroom, but they were unfortunately small and stuffy which led to discomfort during the night. The service was a bit of a mixed bag with some staff being very polite and helpful, while others seemed hopeless. The location was fantastic, right next to Eyre Square and a few blocks from The Latin District, offering quick access to all the city center's main attractions. Despite some noise disturbances from other guests, the overall stay offered good value for money.
My stay at the hotel was an overall pleasant experience. The staff were accommodating and helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in process and assisting with luggage storage. Our room had a great view of Eyre Square, although the noise from the fire escape door and smoking area affected my sleep on the first night. The location was ideal, close to the city center with easy access to shops and restaurants.
My stay at the hotel was overall fantastic! The rooms were brilliant and spacious, perfect for my family with small children. The bed was super comfy, and the view of the square and Christmas Market was just lovely. However, there was a slightly wonky toilet that required lots of flushing, and the wifi reception was quite poor.
The hotel's location is perfect, situated right in the center of the town, making it ideal to explore Galway and close to the main hub. The rooms were very spacious, featuring a double bed and 2 singles, though a bit noisy due to revellers in the evening and street cleaners in the morning. The service was welcoming and accommodating, with staff going the extra mile to address any issues promptly. The dining experience offered good choices, though there were some quality and price concerns. Overall, the facilities were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with onsite parking available.
The hotel is right in the heart of Galway, making it easy to explore the city, but some areas like the corridors may not be ideal for those with mobility issues. The rooms are spacious and tidy, but they give off an old vibe. The service is friendly and helpful, adding to a pleasant stay. The location is unbeatable, putting you within steps of everything you want to enjoy in Galway. The dining options, especially the full Irish breakfast, offer great value for money.
The hotel's rooms were gorgeous, quiet, and very central, albeit with a slight smell of smoke. They were spotless, making it easy to overlook these minor vanity issues. The service was pleasant and helpful, although some improvements in discretion could be made. The location was great, being central and within walking distance of shops. The dining experience was satisfactory, with a decent Continental selection. As for the facilities, they were well worth it.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room offered a lovely view of Eyre Square, but it was freezing cold and noisy from midnight to 2 AM, making it hard to sleep. The location was spot on for exploring the city, but some improvements could be made in terms of room condition and noise levels.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with unexpected full amenities at a great price, although some noise disturbance was present. The service was mostly attentive but had some lapses. The central location is convenient for exploring Galway but challenging for drivers. The dining experience was enjoyable with plenty of choices, though additional costs could be high. Overall, a decent option with room for improvement in certain areas.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was amazing, perfect for shopping and going to the theatre, which was the reason for my visit to Eyre Square. The room was spacious and comfy, exceeding my expectations, but the smell was quite bad, and the heating didn't work properly. The service had its highs and lows too, with some staff members being v v friendly while others were quite rude in the bar. The dining experience was a mix of affordable delicious pancakes and disappointing lumpy mash.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room was spacious and cozy, ideal for families, with a lovely view of the square and Christmas Market. However, there was an issue with the radiator that was never resolved despite multiple requests. The service at the reception was friendly and efficient, but I found the lack of included breakfast a bit disappointing considering the price. The location was perfect for exploring the city, although noise at night made it hard to sleep well. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with tasty turkey and ham but cold vegetables. Overall, the hotel offers a convenient location and decent service but could improve in certain areas.
